AZ Systems (“we”, “our”, or “us”) built the Kagami app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
Kagami connects to third-party platforms (MyAnimeList and AniList) using OAuth 2.0 authentication. We store only the access tokens required to sync your anime and manga lists on your device using Android’s EncryptedSharedPreferences. We do not collect, store, or transmit your passwords.
We do not operate our own servers or databases. No personal data is sent to AZ Systems.
Kagami integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. Premium users have ads fully disabled.
All your list data (anime, manga, tracking progress) is stored locally on your device in a Room database. This data is synced to MyAnimeList or AniList via their official APIs. We have no access to this data.
Cache files used to improve app performance are stored locally and can be cleared from the app’s Settings screen at any time.

No permissions are used for data collection purposes.
Kagami is suitable for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
